Terms of Service

01 This agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Riwayatak — the public site, the client portal, and everything the service produces on your instruction. Creating an account or using the service means you accept them.

If you are using Riwayatak for a company, a client or any other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" means that organisation as well as you personally.

02 What the service does

You give Riwayatak a topic. It writes a script, narrates it, times every caption word against that narration, assembles the scene visuals, renders a vertical 9:16 video and — once you approve it — publishes or schedules it to the platforms you have connected.

• Publishing through platform APIs currently covers YouTube Shorts and TikTok. Instagram Reels is delivered as a manual upload kit that you post yourself.
• Approval is a step in the product, not a promise on a page: a video sits in review until you release it.
• Generation, storage and daily publishing limits apply to every account, partly to stay inside the platforms' own automation rules.
• Parts of Riwayatak are early access and are labelled as such. They can change, and they can be withdrawn.

03 Your account

• You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.
• Register with accurate details and keep them current — billing and account recovery both depend on them.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for keeping your password to yourself.
• Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.
• One person or one organisation per account. Logins are not to be shared, rented or resold.

04 What you bring stays yours

Your inputs — topics, briefs, scripts you write or edit, and any image, audio, font or brand asset you upload — remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

To run the service you give us permission to store, process, transmit and modify that material, and to send the parts a step actually needs to the providers who perform that step — the script text has to reach a speech provider for there to be narration. That permission exists only to operate Riwayatak for you, and it ends when you delete the material or close your account.

• You confirm you hold the rights to everything you upload, including any person, brand or music appearing in it.
• We do not use your content to train our own models.
• We do not sell your content, and we publish it nowhere you did not ask us to.

05 AI-generated output

As between you and us, the scripts, narration, captions and finished videos Riwayatak generates for you are yours, including for commercial use.

• Generative models are confidently wrong on a regular basis — names, dates, quotes, statistics and causal claims. Review every video before approving it. What you publish is your statement, not the model's.
• Similar inputs can produce similar output for other customers. We cannot promise generated material is unique, and you cannot claim exclusivity over it.
• Some output carries third-party material — stock footage, synthetic voices, fonts — under the provider's licence rather than ours. See section 06.
• Where the law of your country does not recognise copyright in material generated by a machine, we cannot grant you a right that does not exist.

06 Stock footage, voices and fonts

Scene visuals may come from stock libraries or image generation, and narration from synthetic voice providers. Those assets reach you under the provider's licence, which travels with them into your video.

• Use them as part of a finished video. Do not extract and redistribute stock assets as standalone files, and do not resell them as stock.
• Do not use a synthetic voice to imitate a real, identifiable person, or to suggest that someone said something they did not.
• Where a provider requires attribution, we surface it with the asset. Keep it with the published video.

07 Connected platforms and publishing

Connecting YouTube, TikTok or another platform authorises Riwayatak to act on that account for the things you asked for: uploading videos you approved, scheduling them, and reading back their basic performance.

• Each platform's own terms and community guidelines still apply to everything you post. Riwayatak is not a shield against them.
• You can disconnect an account at any time from the portal. That stops future publishing; it does not remove what was already published.
• We may delay, pause or refuse a publish to protect your account or ours — for instance when a platform rate-limits us or when a post would breach its automation rules.
• A platform's decisions about your content — removal, strikes, demonetisation, account action — are between you and that platform.

08 What you must not make or publish

You can make almost anything with Riwayatak. These are the exceptions, and they apply to what you generate as well as what you publish.

• Anything illegal where you are, or where your audience is.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualised depiction of a minor, in any form.
• Harassment, threats, or attacks on people for their race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, gender or sexual orientation.
• Impersonating a real person, brand or public body, or presenting fabricated events as real news.
• Medical, legal or financial instructions presented as professional advice.
• Material that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or likeness.
• Spam: bulk near-identical uploads, engagement farming, or use designed to game a platform's ranking.
• Attacks on the service itself: scraping, probing, reverse-engineering, working around quotas, or reselling Riwayatak as your own generation service.

09 Plans, billing and refunds

Riwayatak is sold as a subscription. Each plan carries an allowance — how many videos you can generate, how much storage you get, how much you can publish — and the current plans, prices and allowances are shown on the pricing page and again in the portal before you pay.

• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. Cancel whenever you like: access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.
• Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. Your full card details go to them, never to us.
• Prices and allowances can change. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice before a change affects a renewal, and can cancel before it takes effect.
• Monthly allowance does not roll over into the next period.
• If a failure on our side ruins a video you paid to generate, tell us: we re-run it, or we refund it.
• Any refund or cancellation right your local consumer law gives you applies on top of this section, whatever else it says.

10 Fair use, quotas and your files

• Every plan has generation, storage and publishing limits. Sustained use far past them may be throttled — after we have contacted you, not before.
• Rendered videos and uploaded assets stay in your library until you delete them or close your account. If we ever introduce a retention window for old renders, we will tell you before it applies to your files.
• Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Riwayatak is a production tool, not a backup service.

11 Availability and changes to the service

• We do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance happens, providers fail, and platforms change their APIs with little notice.
• We may add, change or remove features. Where we remove something you depend on, we will say so in advance whenever we can.
• Early-access features can break and can be withdrawn. They are marked in the portal so the label is never a surprise.

12 Suspension, closure, and what happens next

• You can close your account at any time from the portal.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or where the law requires it. Illegal content is acted on immediately; everything else gets notice and a chance to put it right.
• After closure we keep your data for a short wind-down window so an account closed by mistake can be recovered, then delete it — see the Privacy Policy.
• Anything already published to your own platforms stays there. It lives on your account, not ours.

13 Disclaimers and limits of liability

Riwayatak is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, original or fit for a particular purpose, and we promise no outcome from publishing it — no views, no followers, no revenue.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: lost profit, lost audience, lost data, or the consequences of a platform's decision about your account. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

14 Your responsibility for what you publish

If a claim is brought against us because of content you generated, approved and published — copyright, defamation, platform breach, anything of that kind — you are responsible for the cost of dealing with it. That is the counterpart of you keeping ownership of the output and full control over what goes out.

15 Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Palestine, and the courts of Palestine have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of them. If you are a consumer whose local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, that right is unaffected.

16 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email or in the portal at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

Continuing to use Riwayatak after that date means you accept the updated Terms. If you would rather not, close your account before the date and we will refund any unused prepaid period.
